Tucked away in a waterside retreat, under the Spanish moss on St. Simon’s Island, an intimate group of friends and family gathered to witness Rachel and Jimmy’s wedding. It was a simple and elegant ceremony where the bride’s cousin officiated, the groom’s niece sang the processional, and the bride’s family hosted the reception in their home – a true family affair. The weather was perfect and the flowers were beautiful. And the guests who had all traveled to be there were ecstatic for Rachel and Jimmy to be wedded to each other.
My friendship with Rachel goes back over twenty years (!) and I’ve never seen her look so radiant. Rachel and Jimmy, thank you for inviting me to play this special part in your special day. It was perfection!
