My dear Emily, I’ve never seen you happier than you are when you are with Ryan. What a gift to be able to spend the rest of your life with one who so clearly loves and enjoys the woman that you are. You make everything more fun, and your wedding day was no exception. The crowd who traveled from near and far to celebrate with you in the mountains is a testament to the investment you and Ryan make in your relationships.
You entrusted me with the honor of capturing your wedding day. Thank you for believing in me and insisting that I be your photographer! It was more exhilarating, more exhausting, and more fun than I ever thought it would be.
Best wishes to the newly Nolands!
The forecast for Monica and Jake’s wedding day was full of rain. But in spite of the dreary prediction, these two could not have been in better spirits. They gathered with family and friends along the Anne Springs Close Greenway for a sweet and intimate celebration of their love.
Fortunately, it turned out to be one of those days where the weatherman isn’t right…
A huge THANK YOU to Autumn with Olive Leaf Photography for inviting me to second shoot on this wedding!
“All of these lines across my face, Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I’ve been, And how I got to where I am
But these stories don’t mean anything, When you’ve got no one to tell them to
It’s true… I was made for you”
A new chapter is beginning in the story of Jennifer and Jason. And it begins on the day their two families become one.
On a surprisingly warm and sunny Saturday in the middle of November, my family celebrated another wedding. In the same church where I took my own wedding vows, I watched as my youngest sister vowed to love and honor and cherish her new husband. It was an absolutely perfect day and I wanted to capture every bit of it.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Price!
This girl had lots of reasons to celebrate. Fall break from her masters program was going to be spent at the beach with her friends and sisters. And the weather forecast was perfect.
This was the scene when I arrived – the bathing suit clad bride dancing on the porch to music streaming from her tablet. Her enthusiasm was contagious. The bachelorette weekend was full of good food and fruity drinks, silly games and silky gifts. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it so special!
Florida beach conditions in October are idyllic. The air is warm, the sand is cool, and the humidity is low.
We love you Leah!
Slowly but surely the wedding plans are coming together. A church has been reserved, a dress has been purchased, and a cake has been ordered.
Leah and Mark wanted to send a save-the-date card to their guests, so we had a photo shoot. I had three subjects for these pictures – a girl, a boy, and a wooden sign.
The countdown to November 22 is on.
It wasn’t about the flowers. It wasn’t about the cake. It wasn’t about the rings.
This was a day about family.
Jennifer and Joe’s wedding day was planned with their family in mind. It was to be held in the nursing home so that Jennifer’s wheelchair bound mother could be in attendance. They hired a photographer so that the day could be shared with family on the west coast. Jennifer’s three youngest grandchildren were invited to be a part of the ceremony as bridesmaids and ring bearer. And Jennifer insisted on throwing her bouquet so that her eldest granddaughter could have the pleasure of catching it.
The bride’s first order of business was to tend to the needs of her youngest bridesmaid. She was so gentle with the hairbrush, making sure not to hurt her granddaughter’s head.
Joe is now the newest official member of this family. I would say that he fits right in.
Congratulations Jennifer and Joe!
